How can I enable text alerts on iPhone and Apple Watch?
I no longer receive text alerts on my iPhone nor my Apple Watch. How do I set it up to grant me those alerts?

If you could receive notifications for messages until recently, did you already try to force restart your iPhone and Apple Watch?

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
But, notifications will only show up on the active device first:
