I am working as a software developer and every time I quit my app an anoying popup appears. Is there a way how to disable this popup? Earlier versions of macOS (Monterey) were fine and this popup was not present.
Using: Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.2
After some additional googling, I was able to fix this by executing:
defaults write com.apple.CrashReporter UseUNC 1
Works fine since than :)
Per the footer, update from macOS 13.2 to macOS 13.7.4, or to macOS 14 or later.
Check that your Python install is 3.13.2 from Python.org macOS downloads.
Test again.
As a Developer, I would want to know what Python thinks is the problem, then fix its problem once and for all.
Eliminating the error MESSAGE does not seem like an elegant solution.
well, since the system popup does not say anything about the error and also appears after I hit Control + C (to break running code, no real errors in code), I suppose it's rather anoying than helpful
