Apple TV does not show up in the Home app

My Apple TV 4K does not appear on the home app even though Homekit room is selected in the Apple TV settings.

HomeKit requires that the Apple TV box device has the same primary (default user) account for iCloud services as is used for HomeKit. Then the rest should be automatic.

Then the Home app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac would show the Apple TV box for the matching ‘home’ (residence location/​home network) and assigned room. If your Home app has multiple ‘homes’, then the Apple TV box would show for one of them.
