AirPods 4 (without ANC) - do these work with the wireless charging case?

Hello all,

I recently bought a pair of AirPods 4's (without ANC) and they've been fantastic so far, with the only annoyance being the lack of a wireless charging case.

Unfortunately last week I lost my AirPods case whilst on a train (rather fortunately I was wearing my AirPods at the time so the case was the only thing I lost) and there's been no word yet on whether the case was handed in or not, so I'm now looking to source a replacement and it would be a good opportunity to get a case for my AirPods 4 which supports Wireless Charging.

The big question however is, if I was to get a wireless charging case designed for the AirPods 4 with ANC, would they work with the non-ANC model? They are basically the same, right?
