I log out from my apple Id when wanna sign in i can

it told send to your mac but i didn’t have it , and i don’t have the number.

Apple ID keeps saying “incorrect password” I use a Macbook Pro 15” and I want to sign out but it keeps saying incorrect password even though I know it’s correct. I recently changed the password using my phone. How do sign out? Under my account details for the mac theres an option “remove account” will it solve my problem?
