Disable notification summaries, all the way.

I tried to use it, and it doesn't work for me. So I turned it off in settings->notifications->Summarize Notifications (for all apps).

It only partially turned-off. Many of my Messages/texts are still helpfully "summarized" into garbled nonsense.

Someone, please help me make it STOP.
