Camera app can’t initiate the camera

I have an iPhone XS and it works really well. Suddenly, when I opened the camera app, a black screen appeared, it didn’t allow me to switch to the front camera, the problem is that I can initiate the camera from apps like WhatsApp and messenger and works really fine, that made things even more complicated. What should I do since the problem is clearly not a physical one?

PS: the two images attached, the one with the black screen is from the camera app, and the other is from WhatsApp.

Contact apple support, or take the iPhone to any apple store, it's possible one of the cameras has failed, when you swipe through the different camera modes are they all black or do some work?

Firstly, thank you for your respond

they all show the same thing, and the camera app doesn’t let me flip the camera to the front one except if I choose the option (take a selfie), and if I change it to (slow mode) which is not supported in the front camera it becomes stuck and not working.

The issue is really strange and the big thing is that it happened suddenly with no clear cause.
