guitar track doesn't record at proper signal its low and sounds distorted and when i look at the meter it catches some of the notes but everything is connected as it should with proper channel tried different cables tried different interfaces and no luck this just happened to me today and I’ve never had an issue I bought another interface thinking that’s what it was but nothing please help me!

I also reset Logic Pro and uninstalled it and re uploaded it.

Also, Can you make sure the Mac's Mic Mode is set to Standard. Restart your computer.

Is this helpful?

Hello yes I’m recording a guitar directly and then I tried a mic and that was reading fine but it did sound low. And yes the Apollo solo I’m using does have a pad mode but the Scarlett I was using before does not and it worked fine and out of nowhere it started doing that which is why I bought the Apollo thinking my interface was the issue after trying different cables and making sure it was using the Scarlett interface.

Yes for both and it doesn’t record anything when record is on if it does it’s very minimal and the meter on the track is intermittent like it only captures some of the notes but on the meter on the interfaces it reads them perfectly. Ok I’ll check the mic mode and restart the computer and see if that helps
