Why doesn't my new Apple adapter fit my iPhone 11?

The adapter I bought to enable plugging in my headphones stopped working so ordered a new one from Apple. However, it doesn’t fit my iPhone 11. Have Apple stopped supplying them?

Is this the Apple Audio Adapter that you purchased?

If so, what you needed was one that had a Lightning, not USB-C connector. AFAIK, Apple no longer sells them at their online store. However, they still should be available from other sources, like Amazon. Regardless, of who you get it from, be sure that it is Mfi-certified to be compatible with your phone.
