Is it possible to play videos without control overlays on iPhone?

Is it possible to play a video file without the annoying controls overlay?

I am a motion graphics designer, and like to show short graphics to clients, e.g 5 seconds of animation.

But unfortunately, the built in video player shows big controls overlayed on the screen for multiple seconds, which makes it hard to show my work without distraction.

I hope a possibility exists that let me start video by tapping the screen, without visual controls.

Anyone?

I don't think that you can tap to play-- tapping brings up the controls, and you tap again to remove the controls. But if you have it set to "Auto-Play Motion," then it will start playing when you slide to the next image. "Auto-Play Motion" is in Settings>Apps>Photos and also in the settings under the AppleID icon in the Photos Window. Of course, if you turn on Settings>Apps>Photos>Loop Videos, the movie will play over and over.

Auto-play seems to work pretty well for this sort of thing-- there is a very brief pause for the video to load, and that gives you a chance to focus. To play again (if you don't have Loop set) you slide and slide back.
