on my iphone 14 the flashlight was originally set up to come on with a tap . But I want to change it coming on with just the button and not the tap. Too often it comes on out of nowhere so I want to control it instead with the button but cannot find where to change it in settings

Go to Settings/Accessibility/Touch/Back Tap. You can choose what action you want for Double Tap and Triple Tap, or turn it off altogether.

you will see two choices: Double Tap, and triple tap .
Now tap on Double Tap and you will see a long list of options, and Flashlight is one of them.
Do the same for Triple Tap. You will see the same list.
But under the touch button there is nothing for flashlight
