Full access to photos

Another user asked how to stop full access to photos given to their phone service provider by default. The response states “Open the Settings app on your iPad>>Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security>>Choose Photos from the list. You will see a list of apps that have access to your Photos library. You can tap on each one and select NoneAdd Photos OnlyLimited Access, or Full Access. If you pick the Limited Access, you’ll receive a popup window where you can choose the photos individually, from within an album, or via the search tool. Tap Done when you finish selecting the photos. “

The full access option in this setting is currently set and greyed out on IOS 18 and cannot be edited.

I don’t recall that my phone service provider’s access ever came up to give me any option to choose its access setting. I was surprised to discover it. Since phone service is an app presumed always “on” ~ how does one stop full access to photos when it’s greyed out? (thx!)

iPhone SE, iOS 13
