How do I sync my Download folder for both Mac's?

I want to share my solution to this problem. I have several macs, and I want to keep all my files in iCloud, including the “Downloads” folder. Though there are some possible solutions on this forum and other places on the internet, none of them work in all situations. I have found it difficult to make Airdropped files end up in the iCloud folder. So: The solution:

Instead of symbolic links and attempts to move the download folder, I created a “Folder command” using Automator. I simply made a Folder Command, which moves any file, that are placed in ~/Downloads, to my preferred folder in iCloud. All I need, is to keep a shortcut to the iCloud folder for easy access.

Or you could set the browsers on all your Macs to send downloads to a folder in your iCloud Drive.

In Safari, for example:

Safari > Settings > General > File Download Location - and navigate to a folder of your choice.
