will m2 ipad case fit on m3 ipad?

I’m planning to get the new m3 ipad air. I saw a case i really liked online but it states that it is for the m2 version. I want to get it because it is on sale and i’m wondering if it will fit the m3 ipad air

Will the new iPad Air 11” fit in an Air 5 2022 case? I was thinking of buying the new Air model and I wanna know if I should get a new case for it or if it fits in the old’s model one since i saw they have (almost) the same dimensions.
