How do I remove focus from my IPhone 16?

I don’t know when Focus started taking over my phone. When I swipe down from the top of my phone, I see message after message blocks informing me I could not access these messages from different companies I use, or need to see the recent invoice to pay, such as Care Credit. I looked at In Focus, and there were three options. Clear as mud what to do, and no option to delete I.F. Today I picked up meds from the pharmacy. There was one I had never seen before. Read the label and discovered my physician had sent it to the pharmacy in 3/5. As crazy as it sounds, I have suspected I.F. of grabbing some of my notifications, can it also block calls? Recently I have experienced dangerously high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Never had an issue with them before but my physician told me this isn’t unusual when grieving a loved one’s death. Couple weeks ago I ended up in the ER because my doctor thought I was going to have a stroke. Thankfully bp lowering IV brought it down. My doctor prescribed two medications, and each day I take my bp and send it to him through an app. BP wasn’t going down so he increased the dosage and added another med. Friends kept telling me they couldn’t believe my doctor hasn’t reached out to me because it’s still high. Move forward to today. Imagine my surprise when I asked what this other medicine was, and that’s when I discovered it’s been there since 3/2. In Focus grabbing messages, and advising me I can’t read them while In Focus is not acceptable, and dangerous for someone like me with a new health issue, or worse for someone else. What if someone dies because they didn’t know a potential life saving message was hidden in this disgusting, how to completely delete, unwanted app?

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear about your health condition. I guess these iphones are causing people a lot of stress.

As far as the'Focus' thing goes, i spent a few hours looking through it! The first thing is to open (tap the focus icon), then delete or disable any 'focus', the phone created. eg. the driving one, sleep mindfulness etc. Just cancel all of it. Then you find the 'focus' settings in your phone 'settings' options.

You should see a switch that shows "share across devices", so turn that off. Then bellow that in the menu you should be able to see "Focus Status" so tap to select 'off'. It might hesitate and take a stupid amount of time to actually respond and switch off. As for some reason apple seems to not want you to switch it off!

Then the next thing to do is look for the siri options in phone settings, and look for focus. In the siri options. Basically switch off all the options- eg. "learn from this app", show on home screen, receive notifications. And then finally you should be able to delete the Focus app, from your phone. By finding the app on your home screen, tap and hold it until an option menu should come up with "delete app " , in red at the top of the menu. Tab delete and then the app should be gone.

I hope this solves your problem.
