Car Play audio not working Lexus

I have a Lexus NX 300 and Car Play audio is not working. I can hear people talking but they cannot hear me.

I have tried new cables, done “Forget this car/device/etc.” Done hard resets for the phone. Deleted and reinstalled Car Play. Switched which USB port I use.

All buttons are as you say they should be in Car Play.

Lexus has no more updates. dealer says problem is Apple. I am current. I have a iPhone 15 and iOS 18.3.1.

Please help! Nothing has worked.

No sound through cable connetcion with car stereo on iphone 14 I have an iphone 11, my wife has a 14. My phone works properly with my car stereo(no car play) when connected through light ing/usb cable as aux, spotify, youtube, downloaded, everyhing. When I connect my wife’s 14, it shows that it’s playing through docking, but no sound comes out(even if it is deezer or downloaded music)…restart, refresh, nothing is working, the issue is not with the car, as it works with iphone 11.
