How do I sync new iPhone calendar appointments to iMac and iCloud?

Entered new appointments on iPhone iOS 18.3.2 and Calendar on IMac 15.3.1 not updated. I quit Calendar on IMac and opened it again with no update there. I then opened the Calendar on iCloud thinking that would be updated, but it is not.

Calendar entries are stored in the email account they are made in. They won't be on iCloud unless created on iCloud based calendars and if they are added to other calendars like Outlook calendars or gmail calendars you would need to add those email accounts to the Mac for the entries to sync over.

When adding an entry to Calendar, scroll down to the Calendar option, and make sure its being added to one of the iCloud calendar if that's where you want it.
