Is it possible to hide the Focus icon?

While lobsterghost1 is correct that there is no way around the Focus icon, you do have other options.

You can add information to Find My... so that if you mark the phone as lost, that information will be displayed. You can also put the information on your lockscreen background.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. There is no hack to get rid of the focus icon.
