I've been trying to sign into Facebook because I was blocked by some unknown source so I went out and purchased a security key FIDO2 NFC and followed all the instructions from Facebook however, I have failed on numerous occasions. I don't know what the problem is so if anyone has any recommendation, please advise.

Contact Facebook support for issues involving Facebook logins, Facebook security, and Facebook account blocks.
And if you switch to hardware security keys for the sole second factor source (rather than to passkeys or such), consider getting and registering multiple hardware security keys. They do get lost, and can fail.

Yes, my and Mr. Hoffman suggestion is to contact Facebook support for issue with their app.
