How do I transfer battery power from iPhone to iPad when it keeps reversing?

I’m trying to drain battery from my phone to my iPad, but it keeps going from my iPad to my phone. My iPad is 2% and my phone is 100 help me.

Presumably your iPhone has a Lightning connector. Your iPhone is not designed to charge an iPad's much larger battery.

By contrast, some iPad models that feature a USB-C port have the ability to charge a connected iPhone (or some other devices).
