iPhone Cellular and Wi-Fi Both Not Working But Texts and Calls Go Through

My iPhone 15 Pro says it's connected to Wi-Fi in settings but doesn't display it at the top of the screen. It still just says LTE. Texts and calls go through without a problem but every app I open says "No Internet Connection". After completely disconnecting my phone from Wi-Fi, only being on cellular, the problem persists. I've tried restarting both my iPhone and router, I've reset my network settings and turned off Wi-Fi Assist, but still having issues. No one else on my cell service plan is having these issues.

Turns out it was my VPN. Had to disconnect it and everything started working again.

You don't need a VPN unless your company or school requires it to connect to their network.

Despite what you have seen on all the fancy advertising, a VPN provides less.....not more....security for your phone.

So, you may or may not really need a VPN.
