Why am I only offered 3 months instead of 6 months of Apple Music free trial?

I found it Impossible to actually obtain this ‘free 6 months’ of Apple Music! The EE agent couldn’t even solve it and gave up. I’ve tried all the links he’s given me from entering ‘Music’ and saying ‘YES’ bla bla bla all I got was the option to accept 1 month free. Then somehow I got up to ‘free 3 months’ then accept to pay £10.99 afterwards. The agent clarified in fact this 3 months is apparently 6 months even though I’m clearly accepting the fact I’ll be charged after just 3! For the time being I’ve taken the free 3 months deal and saved all the screenshots of the EE agent confirming I WILL NOT BE CHARGED until a further free 3 months.

He also claimed the free 3 months Apple TV cannot be activated until I complete the free 6 months Apple Music. Basically only 1 freebie can be activated at a time. I somehow did activate the free 3 months lol.
