AirPod Max won’t turn on unless unplugged and replugged in
Question for all AirPods Max owners.
. Whenever I'm not using my AirPods Max headphones, I keep them in their smart case connected to the charging cable they came with.
Whenever I unplug the charging cable, take them out of the case, and put them on to use them -- it never turns on and responds to any user inputs on the button and digital crown. LED light doesn't display anything, it's completely non-responsive.
The only way I can get them to work whenever I take them off their charge cable every day is to unplug the charging cable, plug it back in, see the green light turn on, then unplug it again. Then when I put them on it responds with its connection sound and all inputs (button and digital crown) work. It's like I have to plug the cable back in again after unplugging it to trick it into waking up. Possibly a power/sleep mode issue.
