I got a new MacBook Air M3 and I used to have an Android PC, so I have a mouse of usb-a cable and was looking for adapters. I had my eye on this one but I just wanted more recommendations:

That USB-A/C adapter will be fine to use for a mouse or keyboard. It would likely be fine for other devices as well. These are simple adapters. Keyboards and mice require nothing special as far as data rates are concerned, so less expensive adapters will probably be fine.
I've used Xaosun branded adapters for external drives and have had no problems. I appreciate that housing is metal and seem well constructed. I tend to break plastic adapters.

Here is one that is USB-A female to USB-C male that is USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) capable which matches the data speed of your new MacBook Air M3 USB-C ports. Your example link was for a USB 3.0 slower adapter.
I happen to also use a XaoSun adapter like the link I provided, but apparently, XaoSun does not offer it any longer in their Amazon store.
That linked adapter should work just as well as my XaoSun unit.
Apologies. I posted the above link to the Xaosun adapter without realizing it wasn't the usb-a(f) to usb-c(m) I had previously bought. As @VikingOSX posted, it appears that adapter isn't listed on Amazon today.
Wow! Cheap too.... when I bought my MacBook Air M2 a while back I purchased the adapter from the Apple Store - in Canada $25 Canadian!
