Apple Cash Transactions Disappearing

I had $6 disappear from my Apple Cash and spoke to many supervisors who said there was nothing they can do. But I have proof from a merchant that the transactions existed.. but no one wanted to see it. Apple is convinced they don’t have a problem but I have proof of a glitch happening, and transactions (along with $6) disappearing from the history. Writing here so someone can at least register this as an issue!

Has this happened to anyone else???

OK, here is what you do. When a merchant refunds a transaction, on a credit or debit card, it generates an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN). Ask the merchant for the 14 ARN numbers. Once you have all the ARNs, you can discuss the matter with Green Dot. Banks can’t track a transaction with the receipt you have from Green Dot that went missing. The bank does not get the ARN until the refund arrives. Without the ARNs from the merchant, the bank can do nothing.

What do you mean the transaction disappeared? You went to a merchant and payed $6 for a purchase, correct? Then what happened? You were billed twice or what exactly happened?

On a second note, Apple is not a bank. Apple Cash is a service of Green Dot Bank. You were speaking to multiple Apple Cash specialists at Green Dot Bank, not Apple Support. Apple does not have access to any personal or financial information Green may collect etc.

I had multiple transactions (14 total) and they were all to be refunded due to an error with the merchant. Only 12 are showing now so I was only refunded for 12. But I spoke to the merchant and also have proof in the billing history account with the merchant. That they refunded 14 because I paid 14.

2 of the transactions disappeared. And now $6 disappeared along with it. Going right to the bank and not my wallet.

I was only asking if anyone else has experienced transactions just disappearing for no reason.

Yeah I am obviously aware. I spoke to green dot specialists and Apple support. I exhausted every single option.

And the specific transactions are too much to go into because it’s multiple. But I mean exactly what I said, they just disappeared off of the history.

I have proof otherwise of these transactions existing, but since they quite literally disappeared off the Apple Cash history no one will look into it further. But there is a major glitch clear as day .
