Wireless Apple Carplay keeps disconnecting

Does this happen if you use Apple Maps or other apps or is this just with Google Maps? If just with Google Maps, that is not an Apple product, so it would be best to contact Google for help with their application.

Another question, do you use a VPN on your iPhone? If you do turn it off and see if that helps. VPN's often cause connectivity issues on iPhone and are completely unnecessary.

Odd, but that would tend to indicate a problem with google maps.

Delete and redownload it.

A. Post on Google:

Report this and ask for help in the Google Maps Community. Report back what is provided.

B. Update the Car's Audio System:

You've just updated your iPhone. So, see if you can update your car's audio system. For me, this is performed though the house's WiFi.

C. Driver's Manual:

Read your driver's manual to find out more about troubleshooting connection issues.

D. Re-Pair this:

Unpair this iPhone form your car's audio system, and then pair it. For many, they must have their automobile in park to get this to all pair.

Wireless CarPlay uses WiFi to communicate with the head unit. I've heard reports of persistent disconnects near strong radio sources that seem to be causing interference.
