Will a hard case on my MacBook affect heat dissipation or cause long-term damage?

I’m considering using a hard case for my MacBook to protect it from scratches, dents, and general wear and tear. However, I’m concerned about whether a hard case could interfere with the MacBook’s performance in any way. Specifically, I’m wondering if it might affect heat dissipation, cause any long-term damage to the device, or impact the overall functionality. Has anyone here used a hard case for their MacBook? What has been your experience, and do you think it’s a good idea for long-term use?

Using Hard Shell Cases and Keyboard Covers:

No. It is not a good idea to use a hard shell case, as it caused my Mac to overheat consistently, eventually leading to failure. Keyboard covers can cause condensation.

Use of a Sleeve:

So, what I use is a sleeve, and then I take it out of it, when I need to use my Mac. Once done using my Mac, I let it cool for a bit, and then close the screen, placing it back in the sleeveWhat I use: MOSISO Laptop Sleeve - Amaz
