How do I recover or deactivate a stolen AirTag in Mexico?

• Get it back? Not likely, as muguy has already mentioned.
• Replaced? You will have to purchase a replacement, as Apple does not offer free replacements for lost or stolen AirTags.
• Deactivated? This one you need to think about. Currently your AirTag is associated with your Apple Account. The thief would have no means to find out this Account, and Apple will not tell them. As long as it is associated with your Account, it will be "Activation Locked." That means the thief, or who ever they sold or gave it away to, will not be able to use it. What you don't want to do is put it into "Lost Mode," nor provide any contact information. Of course, if you don't care to ever get it back, and you don't care if they will eventually have access to it, you can remove it from your Account. muguy also has already provided you a link for how to do this.
