How can I check if my iPhone 16 Pro Max is blacklisted or not?

i bought non active and box pack iPhone 16 pro max from Afghanistan after i travel to USA the sim provider says this iPhone is reported stolen and they can not issue me sim for my mobile what can be the problem?

I think you were told what the problem is. You bought a stolen iPhone which is blacklisted and can't be used. Return the phone for refund. It's useless to you.
