I have done much googling with no instruction working.
I used to just click the loud speaker button when on a call and the speaker would work. Now for some reason my daughters iPad comes up as an option.
How can i remove the iPad as a speaker option? I have disabled call forwarding etc which all the other posts mention which doesn't solve the issue.

Are you and your daughter using the same Apple Account? This would be one reason why her iPad is coming up. Parents and children (for that matter, people) should NOT be sharing an Apple Account. Apple has advised for more than a decade to not share an Apple Account.

Then you can set up Family Sharing to share content and if your daughter is a minor, Parental Controls.

Then I don't see how her iPad could come up as a speaker option on your iPhone? Do you own an iPad of your own? Could it's name possibly be your daughters in the iPad? Settings > General > About > Name
No she has her own separate account
