My Camera app disappeared on my iPhone

My camera app disappeared and iPhone backed up on os Mac don’t have one

It cannot be deleted, but here a couple of reasons why you may not see it:

  • It has been removed from your Home Screen and available in your App Library. Swipe all the way to the left until you get to the App Library and swipe down on the screen to see the apps in alphabetical order. If you find it there, then you can drag it to one of your Home Screens.
  • The app may be restricted with Screen Time. If you are part of a Family Plan, then the Organizer will have control over whether you see the Camera app. If you are not part of a Family Plan, then you can turn it back on at Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps > Camera.
