iTunes gift not redeemable in Korea

I gifted an iTunes song to my friend in Korea but they cannot use the code because it says the code is only valid in the United States store. How can I send my friend the song?

Gift card to be claimed outside the US If I buy an Apple gift card online in the USA and want to use it to pay for my nephew’s Apple Music who lives in another country, would it work or would there be any issues?

iTunes Gifts are region based. A user with a Korean Apple Account cannot redeem a gift from a US account.

Best you can do so send them money so they can buy the song themselves.
