M4 When pressing "b" or "g" keys on keyboard it returns "bg"

I'm facing a problem on the new macbook pro m4 max, when I press "g" or "b" keys on my keyboard I get "bg". The version of mac os is the current latest Sequoia 15.3.2. The computer is relatively new, bough in November 2024

What I have tried:

  1. restarting it with NVRAM Reset via terminal - sudo nvram ResetNVram=1 && sudo reboot
  2. disabling some apps that can modify input such as karabiner elements
  3. booting it in safe mode (same behaviour occurs here)

Has anyone faced this issue? I have read in other posts about this long ago that system update resolved it, what do you think it can be? thanks in advance

b and g in the same (slightly diagonal) Column add weight to the suggestion that this is a hardware issue inside the keyboard.

Modern keyboards have a rows sheet and a columns sheet, typically clear plastic, and your key press modifies the electro-magnetic relationship at the junction so that can be detected and registered as a key press.
