Hello! Power went out and my remote stopped working. I have two of them. Model A2540 and A2854. Which model works best with the Apple TV 4K with ethernet? They appear identical but the 2540 is likely an older model. Thank you!

Both should work exactly the same.
The 2540 is a Second Generation Remote and the 2854 is the third generation remote.
The only real functional difference is the 2540 uses a lightning connector for charging while the newer 2854 uses a USB-C connector.
