SD Card is showing up from my camera on Macbook Pro and IMac but shows "No Photos"

My camera port no longer works so cannot tether directly to camera. The SD card shows up (I have used both a card reader and directly in my IMac) in Utilites but "no photos" can be located. The SD card appears to be clean and in working condition. Both of my computers have the latest updates. I have tried to upload in Image Capture as well with no change.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.3

If the files are hidden, then you can use the following key combination to toggle showing hidden files on & off:

Shift +  Command + Period

Shift +  Command +   .

It is best to be viewing the root of your home user folder (the one with your user name & the house icon) since there are some hidden items there so you can confirm the toggle worked. Then try viewing the contents of the SD card in the Finder.
