What is the call icon on the top status bar? Please help me.

The telephone icon in your iPhone's status bar typically indicates that TTY (Teletype) is enabled. TTY is an accessibility feature that allows individuals with hearing or speech impairments to communicate via text over a telephone line.


If you don't need this feature and want to remove the icon, you can disable TTY by following these steps:


1. Go to Settings ➡️ Accessibility

2. Scroll down and select RTT/TTY

3. Set Software TTY and Hardware TTY to OFF
