Alarm turning it’s own volume down

Yes, I’ve turned attention awareness off and i’ve used the slider to turn the sound up multiple times to try and fix the volume and yet for some reason it keeps turning my volume down itself. Why would there ever be any type of option that automatically turns an alarms volume down? It doesn’t make sense and can be dangerous. My samsung never had that issue and the alarm always went off for me without me having to touch 100 different settings! How do I fix this..

iPhone 16, iOS 18

Hello!

The Alarm volume is controlled by the slider located at: Settings > Sounds & Haptics. Make sure it’s dragged all the way to the right, and that Change with Buttons is off:

I suspect if Change with Buttons is enabled, you may be accidentally lowering the Ringer volume using the volume buttons.

Have a great day!
