Your Apple Account password is used for all things Apple ... eg; Messages, Facetime, iCloud ad more.

Ypu likely used it to log-in here to the community.

The recovery key is in "Settings > your name > Password Security" if you have set one up on your iPhone)

Else: Seems as long as you remember your Apple Account password and still have access to one of your trusted devices, you can sign in and create a new Recovery Key.
