Unable to complete Touch ID enrollment on new MacBook Pro

I just bought this MacBook Pro two days ago, and I have everything set up except for adding fingerprints . When trying to add fingerprint it automatically says " Failed, unable to complete Touch ID enrollment " after typing in the password to my MacBook . It never gives me a chance to try scanning through my fingerprint but it automatically say that . Can someone please help me find a solution to this, thank you ♥️
