How do I access dual SIM settings on my iPhone 14?

I have an iPhone that works with a physical sim but when I decided to add an eSIM through a QR code it wouldn’t recognise the QR code. When I went into cellular data there was no option to add sim? The phone was sold as dual sim and in the about section it says there is a front and back sim? Any advice would be helpful.

Phones sold in China, Hong Kong, and Macau support 2 physical SIMs. There is no eSIM in those devices.

Thanks for your reply the phone was purchased in France, so didn’t expect it be form or for the Chinese market 🤔 so if that’s the situation it will accept two physical sims back to back?
