Re: I encountered three unidentified purchases in the Apple App Store at 15:57 on February 27th.
We are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community, so no-one here has access to your accounts or details to check this out for you. we'd like to help, however.
Wondering if you use family sharing, and perhaps a family member may have made purchases ..... To identify what the charges were for:
See Apple suppoprt's article: If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support
Eg: says:
"How to see what you've been charged for
- To see your purchase history, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with your Apple Account.
- A list of purchases will appear. To see family members’ purchases, select the Apple Account button and choose a family member.
- To see the full receipt, including tax, tap or click the date. Multiple purchases, including subscriptions, may be grouped into one charge.
If the charge is for a subscription you no longer want, you can cancel the subscription. Find out where else you can view your Purchase History."

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support
Apple may approve refunds for products from Apple, yet may have passed the payments on to a third-party, and merely passed money on as a bank does. In some cases Apple does not have your money to refund..

Re: "I have also contacted a third-party recharge platform but have been refused."
The best source of help for a product not made by Apple (a third-party product) is the company or person who made it—its vendor or developer:

Re: I believe that these were not my own purchases and I need Apple to refund them to me"
If the purchases do not appear in your purchase history, are you sure the charges were not made by someone claiming to be Apple ... there are cases where people pose as a company in order to get money.
