Why won’t apps keep their own background color?

After the latest update, the app backgorunds (on a Black background screen), has changed to black as well…

So now its more difficult to locate the apps beacuse they all look more simular to each other. Why doesnt they keep their own app-color…? Like Supertext, Swedbank and 7 MWC for example. Like they have when you use a white background screen, and like it was before… Pleeease change it back.

iPadOS 18 update reloaded most apps as darkened, why? And will they normalize eventually? When I updated my iPhone 15 and iPad 13 inch/M2 recently, most (not all) apps reloaded as darkened, while some normalized (I.e., colorized). I’m curious if others encountered this and if so, does anyone know how to force the apps to display normally? The colors don’t seem to affect the functionality, but does it signify that the apps still need to synch up with the OS?

Wallpaper icon/widget transparency issue I recently got the IOS 26.1 update and before it I had my wallpaper with a dark tint for the icons which were able to see through and extra widgets with transparent background and you could see through it but after the 26.1 update my apps are tinted but with a solid black background and same for the widgets, you can’t see through them anymore it’s just a solid color. Can I fix this or did it just update like that cause I miss the old transparency 💔💔

Change text colour on home screen after update to 16.4 After having updated to 16.4 all the text on the home screen (app names) changed to black and is now extremely hard to read. I cant find an option to change the text colour for the home screen. If I change the wallpaper to a darker one, it automatically changes the text colour to white, but once I change back to my wallpaper it changes the text back to black. How can I change or select the text colour for the home screen/app names?
