apple maps end navigation button

When I arrive at a destination, maps doesn’t “end” and there is no way to “end navigation”. No matter how many times I try shutting the app, it relaunches navigation and won’t let me exit. The only way to stop it is to reboot the phone.

Once I actually arrived I seem to only have the options of “END ROUTE” or waste battery on phone and watch while repeatedly being tapped on the wrist to make a turn (from inside a building.) Ending the route would seem to entail reconstructing the entire rest of the route. At least that was my experience the last time I ended a route under similar circumstances in Maps. Perhaps the solution is to turn the iPhone off and hope that the route is preserved.

Navigational Maps are Frustrating Hello Community, i have a iPhone 12ProMax. Im extremely frustrated with any kind of navigation maps. IE Google, Apple Maps, Waze, in them not working. I will start my journey/destination and without fail, about 3 minutes in the arrow/car takes a mind of its own. I literally have to stop and hope it clears itself. It continues to place me where im not on the map and am lost. Ive tried every possible solution, (location on, app is allowed while im using it. The directions keep reloading/recalculating. I end up just giving up. Have not gotten any answers to why this is happening or as to how to fix it. Can anyone please help. Thank you.

Apple Maps disappearing from iPhone 16 Pro Max Home Screen Maps disappeared from desktop. It is in the App store and I can ‘get’ again but when I close the app it disappears back to the app store. Anyone know why this happens? How do i correct this? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
