I cant get symbols like question mark an apostrophe. Instead of a question mark, I get this É instead. Instead of an apostrophe, I get this è. For a slash, I get à.
Im frustrated as I cant use my keyboard as intended. I hope someone can provide insight. I use shift or even control keys to get the symbol I wanted but I just cant.

Go to system settings / keyboard / text input / edit / all input sources and use the - button at the bottom to remove Canadian CSA. Only US or ABC or another English input source should be on the list.
