ios18connect to samba with read only mod and i can not switch it

i bought a nas. And I started a smb service and an afp service. I connect my ios18ipad to the smb service with an account (not the guest account). And my iPad only get read only mod, while my windows pc get read and write mod. My pdf docs need to be shared with the pc and iPad via smb.

By the way, my iPad even can not connect to the afp service, while my MacBook can. I even cannot share my pdf docs through nas with my iPad and my MacBook via afp service.

Creating a home network for multiple devices I currently use a MacBook Pro with all documents stored locally. I am thinking of buying an iMac but want to be able to use either device. Do I need to consider some form of NAS and how would I go about it to ensure I could access any document on either device? TIA
