New iPhone 15 Pro Max battery health dropping rapidly

Hi! I recently purchased a brand-new iPhone 15 Pro Max, and after just a few days of using it, the battery health dropped by 1%. A few days later, it dropped another 1%. Is this normal, or is it something I should be worried about?

You're fine. In fact, the iPhone Battery Health is expected to drop 1-3% right out of the box. Apple recommends you get a new battery when the Battery Health reaches less than 80%. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine why, nor when, the Battery Health decreased. In fact, the Battery Health can even increase at times, showing its all just a guesstimation.

Hello!

Maybe it will just stay like that for a while. If the issue persists, have the battery checked out at a Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP). It’s too early to tell if there’s an issue at this point.

Have a great day!
