How to resolve 'Face ID not available' issue on my iPhone?

There may be something wrong with your TrueDepth camera. Please review the following support articles.

If that doesn’t help, I suggest getting your iPhone checked out at your nearest Apple Store Genius Bar or an Apple Authorized Service Provider as this could be a hardware issue.

It could be, but if that doesn’t help, this would have proven itself to be a hardware issue. Make sure you perform a backup beforehand.

I understand it’s not a camera issue, but the hardware behind Face ID is the TrueDepth camera, which is located on the front top notch of your iPhone. In most cases it is the TrueDepth camera issue.
