How to restore songs after iOS update on iPhone 14 Pro?

After either a late IOS 17 or early IOS 18 update on my iPhone 14 Pro many, but not all songs on my iPhone became unplayable. A search of songs results in "No Results", but I believe the songs are still in my Library, but not recognizable. I see the songs in my Library when I perform a music sync between my Mac and iPhone, but I do not see them in the Music app on my iPhone.

How do I restore these songs?

Do I remove and reinstall the Music app on my iPhone, is do I lose all my Playlist?
