If you removed an app from your iPhone’s Home Screen, it most certainly will go to your App Library. Return to the App Library by continuing to swipe right to left on your Home Screen. Once you are there, search in the top bar for the app. Be sure to also check the Hidden Apps folder which it would go there if you accidentally hid it.

If you still cannot find it, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. Your missing app will reappear, in which you can then delete it as necessary.
