Recovery Assistant Wi-Fi menu not appearing on 2020 MacBook Air

I've tried connecting by cable to another MacBook and set that to Internet Sharing, but that hasn't helped. I've also tried the Erase Mac option in Recovery Assistant but keep coming back to the same issue.

Cannot Connect to WiFi in Recovery Mode Hello! I recently bought a secondhand Macbook Pro M2 and I erased the hard drive. I ended up erasing the OS too apparently and so I'm now trying to reinstall the most updated OSX. However, I seem unable to connect to WiFi -- the recovery thing can find the WiFi networks, but when I try to join it always says that it is unable and recommends that I move closer to the router. It didn't recognise my ethernet cable either (as in when I connected it it didn't show that it joined a network). Maybe this is because I'm on my college's WiFi network? Recovery Mode won't connect to wifi I can't put my MacBook into recovery mode. Its. 2017 MacBook and when I put it into recovery mode it goes directly to connect to wifi and then pops up with an error. Pops up error code. (Support.apple.com/mac/startup) -3001F Is it not allowing me to do it because it's not a private wifi? Im at the airport and was just trying to erase my Mac.

How can I exit Internet Recovery on MacBook Pro 2019? It goes almost until the end of internet recovery and doesn’t finish. Show this errors saying its an internet problem. I already tried 3 different ones. Doesn’t work. Is it possible to get out of the internet recovery to try something else? Because every time I turn off, it tourns back on internet recovery mode. I did over 20 times already. Even with my phone data. Nothing works. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

If you’re using a wireless keyboard to invoke the recovery boot, then you might try using a USB keyboard. Very often a wireless keyboard may not respond quickly enough to trigger the Mac into recovery mode.
